The fine print, kept short
What we collect, why we collect it, and the few services that help us run the store. Last updated November 1, 2026.
We collect as little as we can run a store on: your email address, a record of what you ordered, and traffic statistics for this website. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. We don't sell your email address or your information.
When you buy a kit or sign up for the free mini-mystery, you give us an email address. We use it to deliver your download link and license sheet, to re-send a link or help with an order when you contact support, and to send store emails. Delivery and store emails are sent through Brevo, our email service provider. If you'd rather not receive store emails, you can unsubscribe from any of them, and you can ask us to remove your address — see the contact note below.
Checkout is handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us — we never see or store card numbers. Stripe confirms your payment to us along with the order details we need to deliver your kit.
Every purchase is recorded in our delivery system: the product and edition bought, the email address the kit is licensed to, the order ID, and download activity on your personal link. We keep these records so we can deliver your kit, re-send your link if an email goes missing, let you re-download for a reprint, and honour the defective-kit guarantee.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand traffic to this site — which pages are visited, roughly where visits come from, and what devices are used — so we can tell which kits people are interested in. Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits. If you arrive here from a pin or a social post, our analytics records that referral, so we know which posts are bringing people to the store.
Email us at [email protected] with any privacy question — to see what we hold for your address, correct it, or have it removed from our email list and delivery records. We'll take care of it and confirm by reply.
